How to use the grammar checker
Paste up to 750 words and click Fix Grammar. The corrected text appears on the right with every change highlighted, so you can see exactly what was fixed — and learn from it. If a sentence is already correct, it comes back untouched. Click Copy and you're done. Your text is processed and returned — never stored.
What it fixes — and what it leaves alone
The checker fixes three things: grammar (verb tenses, subject–verb agreement, articles, prepositions, word order), spelling (typos and misspelled words), and punctuation (commas, apostrophes, capitalization).
Everything else stays yours. It does not swap your words for fancier synonyms, restructure your sentences, or change your tone — that's what makes it different from a paraphrasing tool. Your voice survives the correction.
The grammar mistakes non-native writers make most
- Articles: a/an/the missing or added where English doesn't want them ("I have meeting at 3", "the life is hard").
- Prepositions: "depends of", "married with", "arrive to the office".
- Verb tense consistency: "Yesterday I go to the bank and asked...".
- Subject–verb agreement: "Everybody have finished", "the data shows... the results shows...".
- Comma splices: two full sentences glued together with a comma.

Correct is not the same as natural
A grammar checker gets you to correct. It can't get you to natural — "I would like to kindly inform you that I will be absent" has zero grammar errors and still sounds like a textbook. Is the grammar checker free?

Will it change my wording or style?
No. It only corrects errors — grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Your word choice, sentence structure, and tone stay exactly as you wrote them, and correct sentences come back unchanged. If you want the wording improved too, use the paraphrasing tool instead.
What languages does it check?
Any major language — the text is corrected in the language you paste. There is a dedicated Spanish version at limato.app/es/corrector-gramatical.
How is this different from Grammarly?
Grammarly underlines issues one at a time and asks you to accept each fix. This tool corrects the whole text in one pass and highlights every change, so you review the result at a glance — no account, no browser-wide add-on. Is my text stored?
No. Text is sent to the rewrite API, corrected, and returned — not stored, logged, or used to train models.
